Young Architects Buy Detroit Home for $500, Turn It into Design Lab
The 5 fellows at University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture bought a house in Detroit (well, Hamtramck but we all know that’s Detroit) for $500 and that’s where the story begins.
They’ve spent this year transforming the run down house into an architecture “design lab” where they were free to create spaces not seen anywhere else.
